Yoga Trainers India (yogatrainers.in) is an initiative of Takniki Shiksha Vidhaan Council, built specifically to connect clients looking for yoga classes with certified, independent yoga trainers across India — for home, online, therapy and corporate sessions. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
When you contact us (via the Contact page or a "Book Consultation" action), we collect your name, phone number, and optionally your email, city and the message you send us.
When you register as a trainer, we collect your name, phone number, email, city, state, locality, pincode, a short bio, years of experience, certification details, the services you offer, a profile photo, and a certification/ID document you upload for verification. We also store an encrypted (hashed) password for your account login — we never store your password in plain text and cannot see it ourselves.
Automatically, our server stores standard technical information (such as session cookies needed to keep you logged in and to protect forms from abuse) while you use the site.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you share with us to: understand what you are looking for and personally match you with a suitable trainer; verify trainer profiles before they are published publicly on the site; respond to your enquiries by phone, WhatsApp or email; and operate your trainer account (login, password reset, profile management).
We do not use your information for anything beyond these purposes without telling you first.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. Your contact details are shared only in the following limited situations: with a matched trainer, so they can get in touch with you about the sessions you are interested in; with our email service provider, solely to deliver notification emails (such as alerting our team to a new enquiry); or when required by law.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing, and uploaded documents (such as certification files) are used strictly for verifying trainer credentials. While we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies required to keep you logged in and to protect our forms against fraudulent submissions. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by writing to us at info@yogatrainers.in. If you are a registered trainer, you can also update most of your details directly from your account.
7. Children's Privacy
This website is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and above. If you are under 18 and wish to book a session or register interest, please do so with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our services evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
